To our Always BeCause community,
After an incredible journey, we’ve made the decision to pause Always BeCause for now. The app will remain active until Aug. 31, before we take some time to step back and wind things down.
When we started Always BeCause, we had a simple hope: to make it a little easier for people to give back and support causes that matter. What we didn’t expect was the incredible community that would grow around that idea.
Every person who downloaded the app, shared a post, supported a campaign, made a contribution or simply told someone about Always BeCause became part of our story.
We’re incredibly proud of what we created together and deeply grateful for the people we met, the causes we supported and the memories we made along the way.
This isn’t goodbye forever. We don’t know exactly what the future holds, but we hope this isn’t the last you hear from us.
Until then, keep giving back, keep supporting the causes you care about and keep making a difference in whatever way you can.

Carousel Players is a registered charity based in St. Catharines, Ontario, dedicated to enriching the lives of children and youth through professional live theatre. As a not-for-profit organization, its core mission is to make high-quality, meaningful theatre accessible to young audiences regardless of socioeconomic background. They tour original, Canadian plays to schools and community spaces, often offering subsidized or fully funded performances to ensure inclusion and equity.
Beyond performances, Carousel Players provides educational outreach, summer theatre camps, and artist-in-the-classroom programs that foster creativity, empathy, and confidence. Their charitable work is sustained by donations, grants, and community partnerships, all focused on nurturing imagination, cultural literacy, and lifelong engagement with the arts for young people in Niagara and beyond.

Our 16th Cause Campaign celebrated the transformative power of the arts, raising $90.15 in support of Carousel Players, one of Canada’s most respected professional theatre companies for young audiences.
Based in St. Catharines, Carousel Players brings live, high-quality theatre directly to children through school tours, community performances, and accessible arts education. As a registered charity, they make creativity and culture available to all children—regardless of background—through subsidized programming, inclusive storytelling, and outreach initiatives.
