To our Always BeCause community,
After an incredible journey, we’ve made the decision to pause Always BeCause for now. The app will remain active until Aug. 31, before we take some time to step back and wind things down.
When we started Always BeCause, we had a simple hope: to make it a little easier for people to give back and support causes that matter. What we didn’t expect was the incredible community that would grow around that idea.
Every person who downloaded the app, shared a post, supported a campaign, made a contribution or simply told someone about Always BeCause became part of our story.
We’re incredibly proud of what we created together and deeply grateful for the people we met, the causes we supported and the memories we made along the way.
This isn’t goodbye forever. We don’t know exactly what the future holds, but we hope this isn’t the last you hear from us.
Until then, keep giving back, keep supporting the causes you care about and keep making a difference in whatever way you can.

Community Care, St. Catharines & Thorold has been meeting the needs of those facing challenges in our community since 1919 – 105 years! The fundamental principles on which the agency was founded have not changed and our mission remains to compassionately provide vital services and assistance to individuals and families which help bridge their journey to self sufficiency.
Our integrated programs range from food and shelter security to emergency services and supports, leading clients to the independence they strive to achieve.

Our fourth Cause Campaign saw another step forward in community impact, with a donation of $59.33 to Community Care St. Catharines & Thorold. Each campaign reinforces our belief that even small contributions can create meaningful change when directed toward organizations doing essential frontline work.
Community Care has long been a beacon of hope for individuals and families facing hardship, offering a broad range of support services—from food and clothing assistance to housing support, job readiness programs, and emergency services. Their holistic approach ensures that no one in our community is left behind.
This donation helps further their mission of restoring dignity and stability to those in need. We’re proud to support Community Care and deeply appreciate everyone who took part in this campaign. Together, we’re proving that local action can lead to lasting impact—one cause at a time.
