To our Always BeCause community,
After an incredible journey, we’ve made the decision to pause Always BeCause for now. The app will remain active until Aug. 31, before we take some time to step back and wind things down.
When we started Always BeCause, we had a simple hope: to make it a little easier for people to give back and support causes that matter. What we didn’t expect was the incredible community that would grow around that idea.
Every person who downloaded the app, shared a post, supported a campaign, made a contribution or simply told someone about Always BeCause became part of our story.
We’re incredibly proud of what we created together and deeply grateful for the people we met, the causes we supported and the memories we made along the way.
This isn’t goodbye forever. We don’t know exactly what the future holds, but we hope this isn’t the last you hear from us.
Until then, keep giving back, keep supporting the causes you care about and keep making a difference in whatever way you can.

Community Crew is a local charitable organization dedicated to supporting children who face food insecurity. Operating across multiple schools in the Niagara region, Community Crew delivers thousands of nutritious lunches each week directly to elementary students who would otherwise go without.
Their mission goes beyond just food—they aim to nourish hope, dignity, and belonging.
Through their school lunch delivery program, Community Crew ensures that children not only receive a healthy meal but also an encouraging note in each lunch, reinforcing care and positive self-worth. They also engage volunteers and donors in monthly giving campaigns, corporate sponsorships, and community events to sustain and grow their impact.
In addition to food support, Community Crew promotes youth development through kindness-focused programs and school partnerships that foster emotional well-being, stability, and academic readiness. At its core, the organization believes that small acts of care—like a lunch delivered with love—can change a child’s life.

Our 13th Cause Campaign was a celebration of nourishment, kindness, and collective impact, raising $67.54 in support of Community Crew. With every campaign, we continue to spotlight local organizations making a real difference—and Community Crew is doing just that for children across Niagara.
Through their weekly school lunch program, Community Crew provides thousands of healthy, ready-to-eat meals directly to elementary students facing food insecurity. But their impact goes beyond food—each lunch includes a handwritten note of encouragement, reminding every child that they are seen, valued, and supported.
