To our Always BeCause community,
After an incredible journey, we’ve made the decision to pause Always BeCause for now. The app will remain active until Aug. 31, before we take some time to step back and wind things down.
When we started Always BeCause, we had a simple hope: to make it a little easier for people to give back and support causes that matter. What we didn’t expect was the incredible community that would grow around that idea.
Every person who downloaded the app, shared a post, supported a campaign, made a contribution or simply told someone about Always BeCause became part of our story.
We’re incredibly proud of what we created together and deeply grateful for the people we met, the causes we supported and the memories we made along the way.
This isn’t goodbye forever. We don’t know exactly what the future holds, but we hope this isn’t the last you hear from us.
Until then, keep giving back, keep supporting the causes you care about and keep making a difference in whatever way you can.

Our ninth Cause Campaign marked another milestone in community-driven impact, with a successful donation of $79.88 to Empowerment Squared. This campaign celebrated the power of education, mentorship, and newcomer support—values at the heart of Empowerment Squared’s transformative work.
Based in Hamilton, Ontario, Empowerment Squared helps newcomer, refugee, and marginalized youth and families achieve success through education and social development. Their programs include academic mentorship, sports leadership, digital literacy, and the groundbreaking Liberian Learning Center project. Each initiative is grounded in empowerment, equity, and the belief that everyone deserves access to opportunity and belonging.
