To our Always BeCause community,
After an incredible journey, we’ve made the decision to pause Always BeCause for now. The app will remain active until Aug. 31, before we take some time to step back and wind things down.
When we started Always BeCause, we had a simple hope: to make it a little easier for people to give back and support causes that matter. What we didn’t expect was the incredible community that would grow around that idea.
Every person who downloaded the app, shared a post, supported a campaign, made a contribution or simply told someone about Always BeCause became part of our story.
We’re incredibly proud of what we created together and deeply grateful for the people we met, the causes we supported and the memories we made along the way.
This isn’t goodbye forever. We don’t know exactly what the future holds, but we hope this isn’t the last you hear from us.
Until then, keep giving back, keep supporting the causes you care about and keep making a difference in whatever way you can.

The Niagara Health Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to raising and managing funds that support the delivery of high-quality healthcare across the Niagara region. It partners exclusively with Niagara Health—the multi-site hospital system serving over 450,000 residents—to ensure that local hospitals have the resources they need for excellent patient care, education, and research.
The Foundation raises money for essential medical equipment and advanced technology, capital development projects such as facility upgrades, and special programs that enhance patient outcomes. It also supports scholarships and bursaries for students and staff in medical sciences, helping build capacity for future healthcare professionals in Niagara.

Our 19th Cause Campaign focused on strengthening healthcare close to home, raising $75.30 in support of the Niagara Health Foundation. This campaign recognized the essential role that local hospitals play in caring for our families, friends, and neighbours.
The Niagara Health Foundation raises critical funds to equip hospitals across the region with advanced medical technology, essential equipment, and facility improvements that directly enhance patient care. By supporting innovation and frontline healthcare needs, the Foundation ensures that high-quality treatment remains accessible within our community.
