To our Always BeCause community,
After an incredible journey, we’ve made the decision to pause Always BeCause for now. The app will remain active until Aug. 31, before we take some time to step back and wind things down.
When we started Always BeCause, we had a simple hope: to make it a little easier for people to give back and support causes that matter. What we didn’t expect was the incredible community that would grow around that idea.
Every person who downloaded the app, shared a post, supported a campaign, made a contribution or simply told someone about Always BeCause became part of our story.
We’re incredibly proud of what we created together and deeply grateful for the people we met, the causes we supported and the memories we made along the way.
This isn’t goodbye forever. We don’t know exactly what the future holds, but we hope this isn’t the last you hear from us.
Until then, keep giving back, keep supporting the causes you care about and keep making a difference in whatever way you can.

Pelham Cares is a registered charity based in Pelham, Ontario, dedicated to helping local residents meet basic needs and build greater independence and well‑being. The organization operates a community food bank that provides perishable and non‑perishable groceries and hygiene items to families in need, offers emergency food support, and organizes seasonal programs such as Christmas and backpack drives.
Beyond food assistance, Pelham Cares provides transportation to medical appointments, utility and emergency support, youth sponsorship for sports and recreational activities, and referrals to other social services when appropriate.
Their overarching goal is to strengthen community resilience by ensuring that individuals and families have access to essential services and support.

Our 18th Cause Campaign highlighted the strength of local support systems, raising $63.23 for Pelham Cares, a community-driven organization providing essential services to residents in need.
Pelham Cares offers food assistance, transportation to medical appointments, emergency support, youth activity sponsorships, and seasonal programs like holiday hampers and backpack drives. Their team of volunteers and donors works tirelessly to ensure that no one in the Pelham area faces hardship alone.
We’re proud to contribute to their mission of care, dignity, and local resilience. Thank you to everyone who made this campaign a success—together, we continue to uplift our Niagara communities, one cause at a time.
