To our Always BeCause community,
After an incredible journey, we’ve made the decision to pause Always BeCause for now. The app will remain active until Aug. 31, before we take some time to step back and wind things down.
When we started Always BeCause, we had a simple hope: to make it a little easier for people to give back and support causes that matter. What we didn’t expect was the incredible community that would grow around that idea.
Every person who downloaded the app, shared a post, supported a campaign, made a contribution or simply told someone about Always BeCause became part of our story.
We’re incredibly proud of what we created together and deeply grateful for the people we met, the causes we supported and the memories we made along the way.
This isn’t goodbye forever. We don’t know exactly what the future holds, but we hope this isn’t the last you hear from us.
Until then, keep giving back, keep supporting the causes you care about and keep making a difference in whatever way you can.

The Salvation Army St. Catharines is a charitable, community-focused organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing poverty, housing instability, and personal crisis. Located at 400 Niagara Street, it offers a wide range of services including a food bank (by appointment), clothing and household assistance, emergency support, and seasonal programs such as Christmas hampers.
They also run children’s summer camp initiatives, youth support programs, and community outreach efforts that aim to meet both immediate needs and long-term challenges. In addition, The Salvation Army operates a thrift store at 350 Scott Street, where proceeds help fund its charitable programs.
With a focus on dignity, compassion, and practical help, The Salvation Army St. Catharines works to uplift vulnerable community members and provide pathways toward stability and self-sufficiency. Their impact is made possible through the support of volunteers, donors, and community partnerships.

Our 14th Cause Campaign reflected the spirit of community support and compassion, raising $71.90 for The Salvation Army St. Catharines. With each campaign, we continue to amplify organizations that provide hands-on help to those facing real challenges—and this one stood out for its deep local impact.
