To our Always BeCause community,
After an incredible journey, we’ve made the decision to pause Always BeCause for now. The app will remain active until Aug. 31, before we take some time to step back and wind things down.
When we started Always BeCause, we had a simple hope: to make it a little easier for people to give back and support causes that matter. What we didn’t expect was the incredible community that would grow around that idea.
Every person who downloaded the app, shared a post, supported a campaign, made a contribution or simply told someone about Always BeCause became part of our story.
We’re incredibly proud of what we created together and deeply grateful for the people we met, the causes we supported and the memories we made along the way.
This isn’t goodbye forever. We don’t know exactly what the future holds, but we hope this isn’t the last you hear from us.
Until then, keep giving back, keep supporting the causes you care about and keep making a difference in whatever way you can.

Start Me Up Niagara is a community-based organization that provides support to individuals facing barriers such as homelessness, mental illness, addiction, and poverty. Through a person-centered approach, they offer programs and services that promote housing stability, employment readiness, health and wellness, and social inclusion. Their Resource Drop-In Centre offers daily meals, access to showers, laundry, mail service, harm reduction, and connection to vital resources—all within a welcoming and non-judgmental environment.
Start Me Up Niagara empowers people to regain control of their lives, fostering independence, dignity, and community reintegration. Their mission is rooted in compassion, resilience, and equitable support for all.

Our tenth Cause Campaign marked another meaningful milestone in community support, with $70.49 raised for Start Me Up Niagara. This campaign emphasized the importance of inclusion, dignity, and second chances—values that guide the everyday work of this vital organization.
Start Me Up Niagara supports individuals facing significant challenges such as homelessness, mental illness, addiction, and poverty. Through a wide range of services—including housing support, employment programs, street outreach, and access to basic needs—they help people regain stability and reconnect with their community. Their Resource Drop-In Centre serves as a safe space where individuals can access food, laundry, and social services in a welcoming, non-judgmental environment
