To our Always BeCause community,
After an incredible journey, we’ve made the decision to pause Always BeCause for now. The app will remain active until Aug. 31, before we take some time to step back and wind things down.
When we started Always BeCause, we had a simple hope: to make it a little easier for people to give back and support causes that matter. What we didn’t expect was the incredible community that would grow around that idea.
Every person who downloaded the app, shared a post, supported a campaign, made a contribution or simply told someone about Always BeCause became part of our story.
We’re incredibly proud of what we created together and deeply grateful for the people we met, the causes we supported and the memories we made along the way.
This isn’t goodbye forever. We don’t know exactly what the future holds, but we hope this isn’t the last you hear from us.
Until then, keep giving back, keep supporting the causes you care about and keep making a difference in whatever way you can.

Wellspring Niagara is a registered charity and cancer support centre located in Fonthill that provides free, non-medical support programs for people living with cancer, as well as their families and caregivers across the Niagara region. Its mission is to help individuals cope with the emotional, physical, and practical challenges that often accompany a cancer diagnosis and treatment.
The organization offers a wide range of programs—including peer support groups, counselling, exercise and movement classes, symptom management workshops, educational seminars, therapeutic arts, and financial or workplace guidance—all designed to improve quality of life and reduce isolation during the cancer journey. Programs are available free of charge and without referral, making them accessible to anyone affected by cancer at any stage.
Wellspring Niagara relies entirely on community donations and volunteers to operate, ensuring that people in the region can access compassionate support and a welcoming community while navigating cancer.

Our 20th Cause Campaign focused on compassion, resilience, and community support, raising $55.96 for Wellspring Niagara. This campaign recognized the important role organizations like Wellspring play in supporting individuals and families navigating the challenges of cancer.
Wellspring Niagara provides free, non-medical support programs for people living with cancer, as well as their caregivers and loved ones. Through peer support groups, counselling, educational workshops, wellness programs, and community connections, Wellspring helps individuals manage the emotional and physical impact of cancer while improving overall quality of life.
